Goal three – progress

Goal Three of our strategic plan, Professional Progress, is defined as "partnering with businesses and government to broaden our student market reach and grow employment opportunities for students." This goal, which is closely aligned with our college's commitment to creating an innovation ecosystem, has been pivotal in fostering continuous development and career readiness for our students, faculty, and the broader community.

We expanded opportunities for our students and enhanced their career prospects through practical engagement with industry and government. Some key activities included launching a new Dean's Advisory Board, expanding participation in our professional roundtable,  and creating GSPM board committees to support enrollment, recruit talent, and cultivate partner relationships.

Professional Access Roundtable Industry Leaders

The Professional Access Roundtable Signature Event Series is a key initiative under Goal Three: Professional Progress, exemplifying our commitment to fostering industry connections and enhancing career opportunities for our students. This series brings together students, alumni, and employers for small-group discussions on current hot topics within various professions, offering an invaluable platform for networking and professional development. We attract roundtable discussion leaders from across our college's industry partners, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives and expertise. By engaging directly with leaders in their fields, students gain practical insights and connections that help broaden their career prospects and deepen their understanding of industry trends. This initiative aligns closely with our goal of expanding employment opportunities and fostering an innovation ecosystem that bridges academia with business and government.
